Watts Roost Vineyard, located just outside Lewisburg in Greenbrier County, is owned by Frank & Barbara Tuckwiller. They have 9,000 plants on nine acres producing a number of varietals. Established in 1998, the vines flourish at the foot of Muddy Creek Mountain. The French hybrid vines are nurtured by the early morning sun and warm rains on an eastern slope. Their wines have won a variety of awards including the 2012 Wines of the South (Gold – 2009 Chambourcin) and the 2012 West Virginia Commercial Wine Competition (Gold – Greenbrier White).
